Prizmah Coaching Institute

July 30, 2019 | News

Prizmah’s pilot cohort of Jewish Day School leaders recently gathered for in-person coaching and learning with Rosov Consulting Director Pearl Mattenson so they can become Leadership Coaches themselves. We’re privileged to be a part of these efforts to elevate the Day School field and look forward to our ongoing work together.

Coaching is a proven methodology for building leadership capacity. Prizmah believes Jewish day schools and yeshivas thrive when their professional leaders have the opportunity to benefit from a coaching relationship. Therefore, Prizmah is proud to gather veteran and current Jewish day school leaders to learn together and to train them to become leadership coaches for schools, building upon their collective wisdom and experience!

This pilot cohort of professional leaders is guided by leading coaching experts Pearl Mattenson of Rosov Consulting and Jane Taubenfeld Cohen. Prizmah is investing resources in deepening talent to strengthen the Jewish day school field. We celebrate the launch of this unique opportunity for growth and advancement for our schools and their leaders.

Thank you to the The AVI CHAI Foundation for their investment in building Prizmah’s capacity to ensure our schools and their leaders thrive.

Prizmah: Center for Jewish Day Schools

I’m so grateful for the last two days of amazing learning at Prizmah’s Coaching Institute, a pilot project funded by the AVI CHAI Foundation, with the hope of making a lasting mark on leadership in the Day School world.

Why was it such a powerful experience? I was with a brilliant and sophisticated cohort of Jewish Day School leaders; I learned from two skilled and insightful executive coaches (Pearl Mattenson of Rosov Consulting and Jane Cohen of DSLTI); and I learned how to deepen my coaching skill set, and better coach emerging leaders.

I walk away feeling so full of learning and gratitude, and look forward to continuing to learn with this group over our year together.

I wanted to reach out to thank you once again for the incredible workshop you led earlier this week. It was so well planned and thought out. You were so intentional in the way you led it and candid in the way you “unzipped” to reveal your thinking making the learning so much more powerful for us.

I was really impressed and surprised by how deeply the group gelled in such a short period of time, due in no small part to the ice-breakers and exercises you led us through which were pretty deep.

I am really excited (and nervous) about embarking on this new journey and I am so reassured by the fact that you will be helping lead and guide us through it and by having an outstanding cohort of colleagues to support each other.
