Effective April 2026
At Rosov Consulting, we use AI tools to support our work across the research process, including study design, instrument development, qualitative and quantitative analysis, and drafting and editing written deliverables. We use these tools to augment our team’s work, not to replace professional expertise, methodological rigor, or human judgment.
Our use of AI is guided by a few core commitments.
Human accountability. Rosov Consulting staff remain responsible for the design, conduct, analysis, interpretation, and presentation of all work we deliver. We do not delegate final judgments, findings, or recommendations to AI tools.
Thoughtful use. We use AI where it can improve efficiency, sharpen thinking, reduce routine burden, or help us explore alternatives. We do not use AI as evidence, as a substitute for research expertise, or as an authority whose output can be accepted without review.
Privacy and confidentiality. For Rosov Consulting work, staff use only approved enterprise AI tools with appropriate privacy and security protections. When such protections are not in place, data must be deidentified before use. Even with approved tools, we limit the information shared to what is necessary for the task. We handle client and participant confidential information with care (our Data Security Statement with additional information is available upon request).
Verification and quality control. AI systems can produce inaccurate, incomplete, or fabricated content. For that reason, we verify sources, check factual claims, and review AI-assisted products before they are used internally or shared externally. No AI-generated content is sent to clients or incorporated into findings or reports without human review.
Transparency with clients. We inform clients, from the time we submit proposals, that AI may be used to support aspects of our work. We are also prepared to follow project-specific or client-specific restrictions on AI use when requested.
Professional boundaries. We do not present AI-generated material as primary evidence, and we do not rely on AI-generated citations, quotations, or factual assertions without verification. Responsibility for the integrity, quality, and ethics of our work remains with Rosov Consulting.
In short, we view generative AI as a tool that can strengthen research practice when used carefully, securely, and under human supervision. Our commitment is to use these tools in ways that protect confidentiality, preserve rigor, and maintain the trust of our clients and research participants.
